O.J. Simpson‘s name has long been associated with headlines, but his latest chapter involves an unexpected auction of personal items from his prison days.
From adult magazines to unopened Trojan condoms, Simpson’s estate is turning to unconventional means to address his mounting debts.
According to Malcolm LaVergne, Simpson‘s longtime attorney and estate executor, a selection of Penthouse magazines from Simpson‘s time in Nevada state prison is set to hit the auction block.
The magazines reportedly date back to his incarceration for a 2008 memorabilia theft case.
Despite the unusual nature of the collection, LaVergne revealed that Simpson was an avid fan of adult content, both during and after his time behind bars.
Following Simpson‘s release in 2017, the former NFL star no longer needed his prison stash thanks to access to digital platforms.
The magazines, however, were preserved, and LaVergne has decided to include them in an upcoming auction to help chip away at Simpson‘s debts.
Adding to the oddity, unopened packs of Trojan Magnum condoms belonging to Simpson may also be offered in the sale.
“Magnums, we’re told,” LaVergne quipped when discussing the potential lot with TMZ.

Financial Troubles and Auction Goals
Simpson’s debts are significant, with the most prominent being a $33.5 million civil judgment awarded to the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman after the 1997 wrongful death lawsuit.
The original amount, adjusted for interest, now hovers around an astronomical $100 million. Beyond this, the State of California recently slapped Simpson‘s estate with a $500,000 tax lien.
LaVergne has tried other methods to address the financial strain, including the potential sale of one of Simpson’s properties.
While the proceeds from this unique auction are unlikely to make a substantial dent in his overall debts, every bit helps in what has become an uphill battle for the estate.
Will the Auction Attract Buyers?
Celebrity memorabilia often draws significant attention, no matter how bizarre. However, the niche appeal of Simpson’s prison pornography and personal items raises questions about their marketability.

LaVergne is optimistic, noting that unusual collectibles can sometimes find surprising buyers. This latest turn in Simpson‘s saga highlights the enduring fascination with his life and controversies.
As the auction date approaches, the world will watch to see if these unconventional items can generate interest-and funds-to address his overwhelming financial obligations.
Phoenix Suns Shock Everybody By Sending Superstar Kevin Durant To NBA Heavyweight In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

A blockbuster trade proposal has the Phoenix Suns setting off fireworks across the NBA by dealing superstar Kevin Durant to a Western Conference juggernaut.
There’s no indication that the Suns are open to dealing Kevin Durant, or that the future Hall of Famer wants out. But the fact remains that Phoenix has one playoff series win in the KD era, and at 12-8 through 20 games, they don’t exactly resemble a championship contender.
If the Suns decide to shake up their All-Star core, Durant has to be the odd man out. Devin Booker isn’t going anywhere, and veteran guard Bradley Beal might have the most untradeable contract in the NBA.
Eddie Bitar of Fadeaway World proposed a mammoth trade idea that has Phoenix sending Kevin Durant back to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, Gary Payton II, De’Anthony Melton and first-round picks in 2026 and 2029:
“The chemistry between Durant and Curry is unmatched, with the two feeding off each other’s strengths to devastate opposing defenses. If Durant’s time in Phoenix shows signs of stagnating, he could be motivated to initiate a trade to the Warriors—a team he knows will be ready to compete the moment he steps on the floor…
Most importantly, Durant’s departure could also allow Booker to further solidify his role as the franchise player, with Beal supporting him as an experienced scorer who has made the playoffs multiple times. The return for Durant would bring in a mix of young talent and future draft picks, potentially giving the Suns a balanced roster that can grow and adapt as Booker and Beal enter their prime. “
