Travis Klece has certainly become known for being a very funny, charismatic, and characterful person. That’s why it isn’t surprising that he spent so much money on this ridiculous item with his first NFL paycheck.
When Kelce first entered the league, he was a third-round pick and earned himself a four-year, $3.12 million contract with a signing bonus of just over $700,000.
Recently, Kylie Kelce, the wife of his brother Jason, revealed on 94 WIP in Philadelphia that Travis had bought a pair of Marty McFly shoes worn in the Back to the Future movie.
“Early on when we were dating, Travis came into town, I think with the Marty McFly shoes,” Kylie said.
“I didn’t have the chance to meet Travis that time, but Jason told me, after the fact, how much of a hard time he gave Travis after Travis divulged how much he spent on the shoes.” she continued.
Of course, at the time, Travis was just 23 years old, so a reckless and almost comical purchase like this was almost expected to happen.
Now, though, it’s certainly not a purchase that has hurt him in the long run, as Travis has become one of the highest-paid tight ends of all time, with career earnings of $76.9 million, and is set to make a salary of $17 million in 2024.
Travis Kelce Looks To Get Back To 1,000 Yard Mark
Travis Kelce has the most 1,000-receiving-yard seasons of all time with seven, and the next closest is Rob Gronkowski, who achieved the feat just four times.

The 2024 Paris Olympics was Stephen Curry’s first ever appearance in the Paris Olympics. The Golden State Warriors star poured so much athleticism into his first appearance on the international stage that caught everyone’s attention, including popular NBA analyst Skip Bayless.
After Team USA’s 98-87 victory over France in the Olympics final, LeBron James was crowned with the MVP title of the tournament. Soon after that, Bayless stirred controversy by posting on social media that LeBron should not win the MVP title. Rather, the sports analyst sees Curry as the real winner of the title.
“I’M SORRY, NOW THERE’S NO WAY LEBRON IS MVP. IT HAS TO BE STEPH. 17 THREES IN THE SEMI AND THE FINAL. WE WOULD NOT HAVE WON EITHER WITHOUT HIM,” Bayless wrote in an X post.
Curry scored 24 points in the final game against France. With his outstanding shooting skills, the Warriors star hit eight three-pointers, three of which came in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter. On the other hand, James contributed 14 points and 10 assists and shot an impressive 60% from the field.
