Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning has made a massive announcement this Tuesday that should make the month of July extra special for college football fans and gamers.
With EA’s ‘College Football 25’ set to drop on July 19, Manning has revealed he will be in the video game, having previously opted to keep his likeness out of it.
The game, which features Manning’s Texas teammate, starting quarterback Quinn Ewers, as a cover athlete, is returning after a decade.
EA halted production of the game after NCAA Football 14, with Ed O’Bannon suing the NCAA over the fact that student-athletes weren’t being paid a single penny while corporations profited from their names, likenesses, and images. The lawsuit was instrumental in getting players paid for the aforementioned.
Bring Glory Home.

Given the advent of NIL, the publishers decided to bring the title back, offering players $600 and a free copy of the game to appear in it.
Arch Manning Makes U-Turn On ‘College Football 25’
Manning initially rejected the chance to feature, claiming he wanted to focus on football, which everyone thought was absurd.
“I’m IN the game,” he announced this Tuesday, also appearing in a commercial showing him playing ‘College Football 25,’ with his uncle Eli Manning coaching him.
“This is the best way to focus on football,” Eli joked.
Arch Manning is set to play backup to Quinn Ewers again this season after the latter led the team to their first-ever College Football Playoff before deciding to return for another season.
Barring something drastic, Arch won’t be starting for Texas until his third year.
VIDEO: Shedeur Sanders Was Getting Brutally Trash-Talked By Miami QB Cam Ward After Their Offseason Workout Together

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders got called out by a fellow college QB following a recent workout.
NCAA signal callers often engage in offseason workouts, so there’s hardly anything to report when they do.
However, this particular one was interesting as Sanders found himself on the end of some criticism from one of his counterparts.
The Buffaloes QB worked out with Miami’s Cam Ward and Virginia Tech’s Kyron Drones under the hot South Florida sun this summer. They all appear to be very good friends and went at each other during the session.
Ward took a shot at Sanders, telling him he’s unable to deal with heat.
“Y’all can’t handle that heat, that’s what it is,” he’s heard telling the CU QB in the video below, claiming Shedeur did not get any better that day.
