VIDEO: Robert Griffin III Calls Out Indiana Fever Head Coach For Her Sketchy Caitlin Clark Decision vs. Chicago Sky

What happened to Caitlin Clark at the end of the game against the Chicago Sky?

The Indiana Fever’s four-game winning streak came to a heartbreaking end with Sunday’s 88-87 road defeat to the Chicago Sky.

Despite Clark’s great game, many believe she wasn’t utilized properly in the waning minutes of the fourth quarter.

Robert Griffin III is one of those people.

Down two points with 53 seconds left in Sunday’s matchup with the Chicago Sky, the Indiana Fever had NaLyssa Smith, Aliyah Boston, and Kristy Wallace getting off last-second shots instead of sharp-shooting Clark.

RG3 couldn’t believe that Clark wasn’t utilized down the stretch. He overlayed a video of him speaking while highlights showed of the game, saying, “They were down by two, then three, then they were down by four, and everybody but Caitlin Clark was taking shots,” Griffin III said in a video posted to X. “Everybody but Caitlin Clark was getting plays called for them. I don’t care if she’s getting triple-teamed, quadruple-teamed, Caitlin Clark should take the last shot — that is why she is there.

“She is one of the most lethal 3-point shooters on the face of the earth. She was built for moments like that. And it’s coaching malpractice if you don’t get her to take at least one shot with under one minute to go in the game, and if you can’t see that, then you just don’t know ball.”

For the game, Clark netted 17 points and 13 assists.

This day would ultimately belong to the home team. Angel Reese scored a career-high 25 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to help the Chicago Sky beat Indiana. She would become the first rookie since A’ja Wilson with 25-plus points and 15-plus rebounds in a single game.

Caitlin Clark Sets Franchise Assists Record in Fever Loss to Sky

Caitlin Clark had a spectacular performance against the Chicago Sky, and she even set a record.

Clark set Indiana Fever’s record for assists in a single game as she dished out 13 in the loss to the Sky, which snapped the Fever’s four-game winning streak.

She added 17 points and six rebounds. Clark also matched her career high with four steals and also had five turnovers.

“I trust my teammates,” Clark said via USA Today. “Thirteen assists, that means my teammates scored off 13 of my passes. That’s a really great number. So I’m going to give them the ball every time and give them the opportunity to score.”

A viral Caitlin Clark-themed bathroom sign has the internet in stitches today.

Clark has developed a reputation as one of the best shooters in the game. In fact, Steph Curry and Damian Lillard are the only players known to shoot as accurately from as far out as she does.

It’s why she’s marked as tightly as she is in the WNBA, with defenders required to pick her up as soon as she crosses the halfcourt.

Despite the pesky defense, Clark remains synonymous with distance, which was apparently the inspiration for a curious bathroom sign.

The sign, photographed above a toilet or urinal, warns: “You’re Not Caitlin Clark, Don’t Shoot From Halfcourt.”

There’s also a silhouette of a male attempting to hit the water a fair distance away from a toilet bowl but failing badly.

Social Media Couldn’t Get Enough Of The Above Sign Inspired By Sharpshooting Caitlin Clark

“My husband loves this!” a user wrote. “What a great reminder to our fellers. I am a teacher and a coach so I might even put some of these up in our boy’s locker rooms.”

You can see some more reactions below:

It wouldn’t surprise if this makes it to many more restrooms across the country. Sadly, knowing how competitive we could be, it would probably have the reverse effect as it would give us something to prove.
