Fans of San Francisco 49ers’NFL 1st Round Pick, wide receiver Ricky Pearsall’s fans were already worried about him for picking up a number of important injuries even before the new season begins. Now they have to worry about him after getting shot in an attempted robbery that took place in San Francisco Union square. The issue took place on Saturday and Pearsall was shot during this attempted robbery. According to KGO-TV’s Dion Lim, the person who shot Pearsall was placed in custody quickly after the incident took place. It is still unclear in which part of the body was Pearsall shot.

There is still not enough information to let people know the extend of the injury after getting shot or other details about the incident. We do know that the player was taken to a hospital nearby and he is currently in stable condition. The former Florida Gators star was attending an autograph signing event at the he was intercepted by the robber before getting to the event. According to reports from NBC Bay Area, Pearsall was targeted for a Rolex watch he was using. It’s very unfortunate Pearsall will be injured from this wound and likely miss a few days. Fortunately, his life is in no immediate danger.
