A heartwarming video recently shared on social media shows Barron Trump growing up over the past few years during former President Donald Trump’s time in U.S. politics. The compilation highlighted the past eight years of Barron’s life, from when he was a young boy at the age of 10 to the towering six-foot-seven 18-year-old preparing to go off to college.

The video began in 2016, when Trump was elected for his first term in the White House in a monumental defeat against Democratic challenger Hillary Clinton. It then features clips over the next several years, showing Barron growing very quickly, rivaling his father in height during his teenage years. The montage concludes with the former first son at 18 and very tall in stature.

The video was uploaded to X with the caption, “Barron Trump [2006 – ] Donald Trump’s son. With his presence, some already see him as a future president of the United States,” suggesting Barron might follow in his dad’s footsteps and get involved in politics.  Other commenters agreed with this prediction, citing Barron’s impressive accolades.

Another user added, “I watched a report on him recently, not only does he have an IQ above 115, he speaks several languages (5 I think) and he is very calm as a young man. His answers were fluid and full of meaning. He is on the right track!!”

The American Tribune previously reported on comments from Trump, who noted it was “very cute” to see his son taking an interest in politics.  In an endearing video, the former president said, “To me, that’s very cute. Because he’s a very young guy. And he’s graduated from high school this year. He’s a very good student, very smart. And I think that’s great.”

Furthermore, the Republican presidential candidate said that his son’s participation is “very interesting,” especially considering how young he is, stating, “I think it’s very interesting to he’s pretty young, I will say, he’s 18. But if they can do that, um, I’m all for it. I think I’m all for it and he probably would be knowing him he would probably be for it too.”

Trump also made a recent appearance on the popular podcast, “This Past Weekend,” in which he noted Barron had made him aware of the show hosted by the famous comedian Theo von.  “He’s a fan of yours, Baron,” Trump stated at the beginning of the interview.  Theo said, “Really, Baron is?”  appearing surprised that the former president’s son was a fan of the show.
