With just two weeks until the NFL regular season kicks off, fans can look forward to 285 games, culminating in Super Bowl LIX at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans on February 9. The season opener on Thursday, September 5, will feature the two-time defending champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, taking on the reigning MVP Lamar Jackson. This matchup serves as a revenge game for the Ravens, who were eliminated at home by the Chiefs last season despite holding the best record in the league at 13-4.

Kelce Mic’d Up

One of the highlights for me is watching the mic’d up segments from NFL, NBA, or other league. These clips give a glimpse into their personalities during the games we love to watch for entertaining and exciting plays on the stadium or TV . Travis Kelce, who holds the record for most postseason receptions (165), was mic’d up during Chiefs camp. Kelce’s enthusiasm at practice is evident and is part of what makes him one of the greatest. He enjoys what he does, which is why he holds the record for most 100+ receiving yard games in the playoffs (8) among tight ends.

In their six seasons together, Mahomes and Kelce have racked up 589 catches, 7,303 yards, and 53 touchdowns in 93 games, averaging six catches, 78 yards, and 0.56 touchdowns per game. The Chiefs are expected to secure their ninth consecutive AFC West title, just two shy of the New England Patriots’ NFL record of 11. They are clear favorites in their division, largely due to Mahomes’ impressive 30-5 record against AFC West rivals. If the Chiefs can secure home-field advantage in the highly competitive AFC, they will have a strong chance to achieve the first three-peat in NFL history.

During this stretch, we might even see Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, at some of the games. Her “Eras Tour” schedule will allow her to attend the first five weeks of the NFL season, as well as the final four weeks and all playoff games, setting the stage for another season of heightened interest in the NFL.

The Chiefs face no easy games at the start of the season. They open at home against MVP Lamar Jackson and new addition Derrick Henry, followed by a home game against Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals. After that, they hit the road for two challenging games, first against the revamped Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night, and then against the Los Angeles Chargers, wrapping up the first month of the season.

VIDEO: Cameras Caught Sha’Carri Richardson’s Dirty Move As She Ran Her Opponent Down During 4×100-Meter Relay

Sha’Carri Richardson made sure to remind people that she is still that girl with her performance in the women’s 4×100-meter relay.

Team USA’s women’s relay team will compete in the 4×100-meter final all because Richardson showed why she was made for the big stage.

Sha’Carri Richardson bailed the women out from a near collapse on Thursday in the Olympic 4×100 relay. She overcame a German runner in the anchor leg to help the Americans win their heat and advance to the gold-medal race.

Amid that run, Richardson could be seen staring at Rebekka Haase as she quickly passed her up on the track.
