Just before the start of the first Sunday of the NFL season, star wide receiver Tyreek Hill found himself in a sticky situation when he was reportedly detained by police.

Police detained Hill, and nobody actually knew why at the time when the video showed him in handcuffs.

It turns out that it wasn’t that bad.

Tyreek Hill was detained by police for a driving violation outside of Hard Rock Stadium, but his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said he would suit up and play Sunday against the Jaguars, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Jeff Darlington of ESPN later stated that Tyreek was cited for reckless driving after being pulled over for speeding.

Hill being placed in handcuffs was due to him having a verbal altercation with cops.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network further spoke on the matter and added that Tyreek Hill was slammed to the ground and detained by officers.

Teammate Calais Campbell was said to be there and attempted to cool things off.

In the end, Rapoport stated no citation was given, and Hill was let go.

Tyreek Hill’s Situation is Eerily Similar To That of Golf Star Scottie Scheffler

Only Tyreek Hill could find himself in handcuffs outside the stadium hours before a Week One game.

Police reportedly detained the star wide receiver as video showed Hill being put into handcuffs right outside Hard Rock Stadium, only hours before the Miami Dolphins were supposed to open their season against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The situation was eerily similar to that of golfer Scottie Scheffler during this year’s PGA Championship when he was taken down and arrested.

Unlike Scheffler — Tyreek would not have a mugshot and would be let go on the scene.

Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce all but confirmed that he’ll never come out of retirement after revealing a remarkable offseason body transformation.

Though he was still at the top of his game last year, Jason Kelce decided to hang up the cleats on his illustrious career that will lead to a spot in the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.

Because Kelce was playing at a high level in his age-36 season, many fans can’t help but wonder if he’d come out of retirement and return to the Eagles — especially if they’re in Super Bowl contention.

But during an interview with the Associated Press, Jason Kelce made it clear that a comeback is not happening. Kelce cited that the Eagles won’t be calling him back after his drastic offseason weight loss:

“They’re not going to call me to come back and play center at 260 pounds, and I’m moving on to the next thing and I’m excited to watch Cam (Jurgens). I really think Cam is going to be tremendous this year. He’s going to really show people how great of a player he is.

He was good for us last year at right guard and he’s going to flourish at center. And for me personally, my days of playing are just done and I do not foresee any scenario taking place other than maybe medicine inventing a way to get rid of arthritis that I would ever entertain coming back at all anymore.”
