The Miami-Dade Police Department has released the bodycam video of Tyreek Hill’s controversial detainment on Sunday morning.

Witnesses filmed footage of Tyreek Hill being handcuffed by police outside of his vehicle, hours before the Miami Dolphins’ season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hill’s teammate, defensive tackle Calais Campbell, was also handcuffed when he attempted to de-escalate the situation.

Hill wasn’t arrested but issued a pair of traffic citations. On Monday evening, Miami-Dade Police Department Director Stephanie V. Daniels announced in a statement that they were releasing police bodycam footage “to reinforce the Department’s commitment to keeping the public informed.”

The footage (which can be viewed below) shows an officer asking Tyreek Hill why he isn’t wearing his seatbelt. He is then ordered to get out of the vehicle, with officers threatening to break the window if the All-Pro wideout doesn’t.

After Hill refuses more orders to get out of the car, another officer forces open the door, and the cops take him to the ground before placing the 30-year-old in handcuffs (WARNING: VIDEO CONTAINS LANGUAGE THAT IS NSFW):

Hill is relatively calm throughout the ordeal, warning the cops that he had surgery on his knee as one of the officers takes him down. The officers noticeably raise their voices during the incident.

The video below shows officers also placing Calais Campbell in handcuffs after he approaches the situation. Campbell was warned to leave before being detained.

Daniels announced on Sunday that one of the officers involved in the incident was placed on administrative leave.

Tyreek Hill Lifted Dolphins To Big Week 1 Victory

Hill was able to put the disturbing incident behind him once the game commenced. He caught seven passes for 130 yards and a touchdown, highlighted by an 80-yard TD reception in the third quarter.

His touchdown kick-started Miami’s comeback, as kicker Jason Sanders added two field goals in the fourth quarter (including the game-winner as time expired) to lead Miami to a nail-biting 20-17 victory.

Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce all but confirmed that he’ll never come out of retirement after revealing a remarkable offseason body transformation.

Though he was still at the top of his game last year, Jason Kelce decided to hang up the cleats on his illustrious career that will lead to a spot in the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.

Because Kelce was playing at a high level in his age-36 season, many fans can’t help but wonder if he’d come out of retirement and return to the Eagles — especially if they’re in Super Bowl contention.

But during an interview with the Associated Press, Jason Kelce made it clear that a comeback is not happening. Kelce cited that the Eagles won’t be calling him back after his drastic offseason weight loss:

“They’re not going to call me to come back and play center at 260 pounds, and I’m moving on to the next thing and I’m excited to watch Cam (Jurgens). I really think Cam is going to be tremendous this year. He’s going to really show people how great of a player he is.

He was good for us last year at right guard and he’s going to flourish at center. And for me personally, my days of playing are just done and I do not foresee any scenario taking place other than maybe medicine inventing a way to get rid of arthritis that I would ever entertain coming back at all anymore.”
