Earlier this week, Darrell Doucette, the quarterback for Team USA flag football, called out NFL players for thinking they’d automatically make the team for the 2028 Olympics.

Of course, that stirred up a lot of drama, and many online are now posting videos of Doucette playing, which has only hurt his image. This video is supposed to be a highlight of him playing, but many online can’t stop roasting Doucette.

That form is next level gutter ball bad. A future Raiders player if there ever was one, as God intended,” one commenter said about Doucette.

I once saw an eighty year old man hucking pineapples into the back of an old Datsun pickup in Costa Rica. His throwing motion looked exactly like this,” said another.

Tim Tebow had a better throwing motion than that. This ball went 45° right of where he was aimed and it looked like he put damn near everything he had into that throw for it to go like 10 yards,” added a third.

Are you watching the same video I am??? I’m burning my Mahomes jersey right now. I haven’t seen a QB throw with form like that since Sally Grandy threw a recess winning TD against me in 3rd grade,” continued a fourth.

Now, most people on social media are convinced that NFL players will be able to make the flag football team for the Olympics.

Darrell Doucette Has Won A Gold Medal In Flag Football

In 2022, he and Team USA competed in the World Games, where they would go undefeated to take home the gold medal after defeating Italy in the final game.

“We’ve watched Italy. We knew how high-powered their offense was. We knew they scored a lot of points, but we were confident that we could stop them,” Doucette said. “They came out and played a great game, but those two-point conversions made up for some of those stops we couldn’t get. In the second half, we turned it on. The defense made a couple of stops and it was off from there.”
