Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs keep finding ways to win games and have the best record on the 2024 NFL season (12-1).

The team is looking to achieve something that has never been done before: win three Super Bowls in a row. So far, so good.

That’s why some people wonder if the Chiefs have some kind of champion luck or just straight up divine help. One of the believers is Travis’ older brother and former NFL player Jason Kelce. On their very popular podcast “New Heights”, the brothers discussed the issue thanks to a question from one of his audience members.

The question was: “If you could have been on any team from kids movies or tv shows, which would it be and why?”

The Kelces talked about some classics like “The Sandlot”,“Space Jam”, and ultimately Travis said that he would have loved to be part of the California Angels squad from “Angels in the Outfield”, a very popular 1994 movie.

“Dude, I kinda feel like you guys are the angels in the outfield this year,” replied Jason Kelce. “There’s some unknown like,” added the ESPN commentator. “Here you go with this Tay-Voodoo s*** again.” Travis replied while he laughed.

“Tayvoodo” was coined by Taylor Swift’s (Travis girlfriend) fan base, who hypothesize that those who have slighted the pop megastar have subsequently been punished with misfortune. Fans have also credited “Tayvoodoo” with the Chiefs‘ NFL wins. (Kansas City won Super Bowl LVIII in February.)

“Angels in the Outfield” is a fun 90’s movie. The plot is about an 11-year-old boy named Roger who prays for help to resurrect a last-place baseball team,the California Angels. A band of fun-loving angels answers the call. The movie includes the very talented actors Danny Glover, Christopher Lloyd; Matthew McConaughey and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Jason Kelce talks about “Space Jam”

Jason Kelce also talked about one of his favorite kids movies: “Space Jam”, the monster hit led by the GOAT Michael Jordan vs. a group of aliens that steal the talents of some very good NBA players including Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Shawn Bradley, Larry Johnson and Mugsy Bogues).

Surprisingly so, Jason said that he would be on the villain’s team and not on the heroe’s team, which included Jordan, Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Tweety, Daffy Duck and the rest of the beloved Looney Tunes characters.

Phoenix Suns Shock Everybody By Sending Superstar Kevin Durant To NBA Heavyweight In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

A blockbuster trade proposal has the Phoenix Suns setting off fireworks across the NBA by dealing superstar Kevin Durant to a Western Conference juggernaut.

There’s no indication that the Suns are open to dealing Kevin Durant, or that the future Hall of Famer wants out. But the fact remains that Phoenix has one playoff series win in the KD era, and at 12-8 through 20 games, they don’t exactly resemble a championship contender.

If the Suns decide to shake up their All-Star core, Durant has to be the odd man out. Devin Booker isn’t going anywhere, and veteran guard Bradley Beal might have the most untradeable contract in the NBA.

Eddie Bitar of Fadeaway World proposed a mammoth trade idea that has Phoenix sending Kevin Durant back to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, Gary Payton II, De’Anthony Melton and first-round picks in 2026 and 2029:

“The chemistry between Durant and Curry is unmatched, with the two feeding off each other’s strengths to devastate opposing defenses. If Durant’s time in Phoenix shows signs of stagnating, he could be motivated to initiate a trade to the Warriors—a team he knows will be ready to compete the moment he steps on the floor…
Most importantly, Durant’s departure could also allow Booker to further solidify his role as the franchise player, with Beal supporting him as an experienced scorer who has made the playoffs multiple times. The return for Durant would bring in a mix of young talent and future draft picks, potentially giving the Suns a balanced roster that can grow and adapt as Booker and Beal enter their prime. “
