Throughout the Biden administration, many Americans have expressed concern about President Biden’s mental and physical health and whether he is fit to lead the nation.  Since taking office, Biden has made innumerable gaffes and public slip-ups, swaying the confidence of many American voters.  In some instances, the president has been known to abruptly raise his voice and shout to create emphasis.

RNC Research, a popular X account run by the Republican National Committee, which often criticizes Biden, uploaded a clip from a recent Scranton speech.  According to RNC Research, “A delusional Biden randomly starts SCREAMING as he recounts the debunked “suckers and losers” hoax (again). Biden is NOT well.

“I have to say, there are a lot of things that Donald Trump has said and done that I find extremely offensive. But one that offends me the most is when he refused, as president, to visit an American cemetery outside of Paris when he was president. Why? He said that those soldiers who gave their lives were, quote — it was his quote — ‘suckers’ and ‘losers,’” Biden said during the Scranton speech.

However, Trump has consistently denied the claims, insisting they are a fabrication.  The former president claimed over two dozen individuals denied the story on record.  According to an analysis of the claims from Snopes.com, there is no substantial evidence and the accusation has relied on anonymous sources.

“Following a story by The Atlantic, a number of reputable news outlets reported on the alleged comments in 2020, relying entirely on anonymous sources from his administration,” Snopes wrote.  “However, there appeared to be no evidence of an audio or video recording of the remarks in question, nor was there any documentation, such as transcripts or presidential notes, to independently confirm or deny the alleged quotes’ authenticity. Moreover, since Snopes did not witness the in-question comments firsthand, we can’t say for certain whether Trump called fallen soldiers “suckers” and “losers.””

Despite the lack of evidence for this claim that Trump disparaged fallen members of the U.S. military, which Trump and his supporters regard as a hoax, Biden has touted the allegations as fact several other times.  The president also mentioned the alleged comments during two April 17 statements in Pittsburg and Avoca, Pennsylvania.

“I was reminded of what my opponent said in Paris not too long ago. They asked him to go visit American gravesites. He said ‘no.’ He wouldn’t do it. Because they were all ‘suckers’ and ‘losers.’ I’m not making that up,” Bided said in Pittsburgh.  “What I was thinking about when I was standing there was when Trump refused to go up to the memorial for veterans in Paris, and he said they were a bunch of ‘suckers’ and

‘losers,’” he said in Avoca.

Watch Biden’s claim about Trump, which lacks evidence, alongside his concerning behavior behavior during the speech below.  X users flooded the comments section, blasting Biden for the comments that lack substantiation.

“It’s hilarious that the left will make things up and use “anonymous sources” to back up their claims, then they repeat it for years and forget they completely made it up,” one person commented.  “Still waiting for any video or audio of Trump actually saying that. It’s been 3 1/2 years and we still don’t have any evidence that this happened,” another person added.
