Former NBA star Michael Jordan made a public appearance with his wife this weekend, stepping out on a date night this past Friday to celebrate the start of NASCAR weekend.

Jordan and his wife Yvette Prietto, were photographed on the red carpet at Electric Jane in what can be considered a rare photo for the couple.

The six-time NBA champion was also seen drinking Cincoro Extra Anejo tequila while engaging other guests such as country artist Garth Brooks and racecar drivers Bubba Wallace and Kurt Busch.

Jordan, 60, met the 44-year-old model at a nightclub in Miami in 2008. They tied the knot in 2013 and have since become parents to twin daughters Victoria and Ysabel, who are now nine years old.

Jordan has three kids from his first marriage to former spouse Juanita Vanoy: Jeffrey, Marcus, and Jasmine.

Marcus has been in the news a lot lately as he’s believed to be dating Larsa Pippen, the ex-wife of MJ’s former teammate Scottie Pippen, who has said quite a lot to discredit his former Bulls teammate since the release of The Last Dance in 2020. It’s likely that Marcus’ relationship with Larsa has something to do with the recent bitterness.

Meanwhile, Jordan is finalizing a deal that will see him relinquish ownership of the Charlotte Hornets. The 60-year-old is expected to walk away with $3 billion from the sale.

Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes, posted a strong but intriguing message on her Instagram story amid the significant backlash she has received.

The 28-year-old mother of two, soon to be three, “liked” one of the posts from the Republican nominee as many called for Tayor Swift to stop being around her.

Brittany Mahomes shared a quote from Shane Pruitt on Instagram: “Contrary to the tone of the world today… You can disagree with someone and still love them. You can have differing views and still be kind.”

Brittany herself appeared to send a message to her critics on social media by adding her own personal caption of, “Read that again!”
